 I’ve always believed that the best journeys are not just about the places we visit, but about the connections we create along the way. And that is exactly how our story began. It all started with an idea that didn’t come from us, but from our guests.

Rui Hélder, my partner in this journey, is an Agronomist by training, but life naturally led him into hospitality. He was initially responsible for ensuring my guests arrived safely and comfortably at my accommodations in Porto. Very quickly, however, he became much more than just a driver.

With his warm presence, deep knowledge of Portugal, and natural storytelling ability, Rui transformed simple transfers into meaningful first impressions of the country. Guests would arrive not only at their destination, but already inspired, informed, and excited about what was to come.

Meanwhile, I have always been passionate about sharing Portugal beyond the obvious — not just the famous landmarks, but also the hidden gems, authentic flavors, scenic viewpoints, and places that truly capture the essence of this country.

Before long, guests began asking Rui to take them further — beyond Porto — based on the experiences and suggestions I shared. What started as simple recommendations slowly evolved into carefully curated, unforgettable journeys.
