I’ve always believed that the best journeys aren’t just about the places we visit, but the connections we make along the way. And that’s exactly how our story began—through the kindness of strangers who became friends, and the shared love for discovering the beauty of Portugal.

It all started with an idea that didn’t come from us, but from our guests. Rui Hélder, my partner in this adventure, is an Agronomist by training, but fate led him to the world of hospitality. He was the one ensuring my guests arrived safely and comfortably at my accommodations, but he quickly became much more than just a driver.

With his warm presence, deep knowledge of Portugal, and natural storytelling ability, Rui turned simple transfers into memorable introductions to Porto. Guests would arrive at their destination not just with their luggage, but with their hearts already full of excitement and curiosity.

Meanwhile, I’ve always loved sharing my passion for Portugal—recommending not just the famous landmarks but also the hidden gems, the places that make this country truly special. Before long, guests started asking Rui to take them beyond Porto, crafting experiences based on my personal suggestions. What began as casual recommendations soon turned into unforgettable journeys.
